Botany

Overview

Students pursuing majors in biology, entomology, or wildlife ecology and conservation are not eligible to receive the minor in botany.

To be eligible for many upper-level botany courses, students must have completed BSC 2010 and 2010L or BOT 2010C, and BSC 2011 and 2011L or BOT 2011C.

Required Courses

• Choose 15 credits from any 3000/4000/5000-level BOT course or
  PCB 3023 or PCB 3601C or PCB 4043C.
• Up to six credits may come from BOT 2010C, BOT 2011C, BOT 2710 or BOT 2800C.
• No more than three credits may be individual work.

Students must complete a minimum of six credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
