Overview
The Arabic language is the key to understanding the culture and history of North Africa, the Middle East, and the Arabian Peninsula. Arabic is also the liturgical language of more than a billion Muslims, and is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.
An intensive summer program in Fez, Morocco, is available for students at all levels.
No more than three credits of 4905 (Individual Work) coursework may be applied to the minor. Students must complete a minimum of six credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
