Physics Minor
Hours: 17 credits, all completed with minimum grades of C
The minor in physics consists of the complete sequence in general physics, modern physics and two 3000/4000-level courses in the physics major course sequence. Students interested in pursuing this minor should consult a physics adviser and obtain the required approval no later than the beginning of the junior year.
Students pursuing an astronomy major are not eligible to receive this minor.
All 3000/4000-level courses must be taken from the UF Department of Physics. Students must complete a minimum of 6 credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
PHY 3400, PHY 3840L and PHY 4905 (Individual Work) cannot count toward this minor.
