  • Mathematics Minor

Hours: 23-24 credits, all completed with minimum grades of C

The minor in mathematics is open to all students who are not majoring in mathematics.

Three 4000-level electives (in the table below) must be taken from the UF Department of Mathematics; no substitutions from other institutions or departments are allowed. A prerequisite for admission to the minor is prior completion of one of these 4000-level courses with a minimum grade of C+.

Of the total credits, no more than three may be individual work. Students must complete a minimum of 6 credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
