European Union Studies Minor
Hours: 18 credits, all completed with minimum grades of C
The European Union studies minor gives UF students the opportunity to gain multidisciplinary expertise and hands-on practical experience in EU-related affairs through course work, internships and study abroad opportunities.
The minor is open to all UF undergraduates. To be eligible, students must have a minimum overall 2.5 GPA and a 3.0 GPA in their major. The combined GPA for all course work applied toward the minor must be a minimum 3.0.
Of the total credits, no more than three may be individual work. Students must complete a minimum of 6 credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
Completion of the minor requires participation in an EU-related internship or one of five summer study-abroad programs in Salzburg, Prague, Krakow/Wroclaw, Istanbul or Brussels.
