The art and science of teaching exercise therapy effectively,including adapted physical activities and healthy living strategies. Presents medical and health characteristics of common disabilities and methods for prescribing appropriate exercise therapy programs. Seminar examines the medical, social, legal and educational implications of HIV/AIDS on individuals and society. Course format includes lectures, guest and student presentations, videos and student-initiated discussions.
