Students gain competence in grammar, reading, listening and writing skills, particularly in the use of the present simple, the simple past and the continuous tenses.
TUR 1182 Preparation for Intermediate Turkish

Alternative course to TUR 1180 for students who have had four years of high school Turkish or the equivalent. The course focuses on grammar, particularly on the acquisition of future, past and past continuous tenses. Student comprehension and active use of all basic grammar in beginner-level Turkish will be complete in preparation for Intermediate Turkish (TUR 2220).
