MAC 1147 or 1140 (next column determines appropriate course)
Students with a score of 1 or 2 on an AP Calculus exam should take the online mathematics placement exam (ALEKS) to determine the course for which they are prepared. MAC 1140 satisfies the prerequisite for MAC 2233 but not, by itself, for MAC 2311. MAC 1147 or the combination of MAC 1140 and MAC 1114 satisfies the prerequisite for MAC 2311.
