Accreditation
The University of Florida is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor, master, specialist and engineer, as well as doctoral and professional degrees. It has 16 colleges and more than 200 research, service and education centers, bureaus and institutes. More than 100 undergraduate degree programs are offered and the Graduate School coordinates more than 200 graduate programs throughout the university’s colleges and schools. Professional postbaccalaureate degrees are offered in dentistry, law, medicine, pharmacy and veterinary medicine.
