Theories and Politics of Sexuality Minor
Hours: 18 credits, all completed with grades of C or better
Students pursuing the women's studies major are not eligible to receive the minor in theories and politics of sexuality.
WST 2611 or WST 2612 can count toward the minor; the additional 15 credits must be taken at the 3000 level or higher, with no more than three credits of independent study.
All courses must be passed with a grade of C or better except internships, which are taken S-U.
Six transfer credits may be applied toward the minor.
Nine credits that count toward another major or minor may be counted toward the minor.
This minor requires 18 hours of approved course work, including:
- A three-hour core course
- WST 3603 Sexuality Studies or
- ENG 4844 Queer Theory
- 15 hours chosen from a Women's Studies-approved list of electives
