Spanish Minor

Hours: 18 credits, all completed with grades of C or better

A minimum of nine credits must be completed at the University of Florida, including one 4000-level course. No more than three credit hours of SPN 4905 will count toward the minor.

Students are encouraged to take one or more SPN 3224 (Applied Spanish) courses, together with the respective content courses.

Please be aware of the prerequisite courses required for certain 3000- and 4000-level courses:

• SPN 3301 is the prerequisite for SPN 4420.
• SPN 3700 is the prerequisite for 4000-level SPN linguistics courses.
• Any two of the following courses count as the prerequisites for 4000-level SPW courses: SPW 3030, 3031, 3080, 3100 and 3101.
